Cookies we use, and why.

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies — like localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags — work the same way. In this policy, “cookies” means all of them.

Cookies can be set by us (first-party) or by services we use (third-party). They can last a single session or persist across visits.

We use cookies for four purposes. You control three of them.

• Strictly necessary — required for the Services to function (authentication, security, load balancing). Always on.
• Functional — remember preferences like theme, editor layout, and language.
• Analytics — help us understand how people use the Services so we can improve them.
• Marketing — measure campaign performance. We turn these off by default.

Some cookies are set by services we integrate with. When you interact with these, their cookies may be set.

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and security tokens.
• Stripe / Razorpay — payment processing and fraud prevention.
• Analytics provider — aggregate usage statistics (only when you’ve consented).

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit, or change your mind any time. Opening preferences also lets you fine-tune each category independently.

You can also manage cookies from your browser settings. Refer to your browser’s help pages (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) for detailed instructions. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and some core features.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry standard for how services should respond, so we rely on the consent banner to reflect your preferences consistently across devices.

We may update this Cookie Policy as we introduce new features or work with new providers. We’ll update the “Effective” date and, for material changes, re-prompt the consent banner so you can review.
